Hello!
My name is Ammon Bennett, I was born and raised in small-town Minnesota, and I’m a photographer.
My passion for photography began when I received a DSLR for Christmas one year as a teenager. My father didn’t know it at the time, but his gift to me that year would continue to influence me more and more over the next decade. To my surprise, I quickly found out that it takes more than a good camera to create a beautiful image.
Over the years, I’ve continued to acquire the right skills and techniques to create photos that capture the essence of a moment, photos that don’t just capture the look, but feelings as well. I’ve always found it fascinating how some pictures catch the eye and cause us to pause and simply admire them, and so I strive to produce images that have that very effect.
I’m currently living in Provo, Utah, and I’m studying in the Photo- & Lens-based design program at Brigham Young University.
